I'm not sure which photo I like better but I do find it interesting how even a small crop can change the focal point of a picture. In the first one I see the flower first, but with the new line for the fence in the second photo I see the fence first.
I like the subtle cropped photo more. It really brings the focal point of the flower out a little bit more. I also agree with Seabmeyer about the fence drawing your eye through the photo better.
I agree that the subtle crop makes the photo better. The line that the fence creates better draws your eye through the photo in the cropped version.

ReplyDeleteI like the crop better than the first image. The first image has those curved lines from the branches on the top right side that I found distracting.
